f. Board Member Reports –

Mary Esther:

Dall: More P.V. patches have been ordered.

Spence:  Made an inquiry in November about the cattle guard repair. Still waiting on the County Road folks to do the initial repairs. Wendell Gubler has now been put in charge, however it is not a very high priority as far as work needing to be completed in the County. Gerald said he would speak to Wendle about it further.

John:  Wendell Gubler has done a nice job in getting patches on some Pine Valley roads. * Would like to see an update from Kevin Keyes each month.

Jeff: Absent

f. Fire Chief – Gerald (see report).  Laurett gave a recap of the EMT Conference in Salt Lake. It was attended by Gerald, Laurett, Rhodell and Beverly.* Gerald spoke about the article concerning the Pine Valley Firemen and EMTs that comes out in the January issue of Straight Tips Magazine. * Should firemen/EMT pay that we receive from the government go directly to the personnel that worked the job, or should it become property of the fire department (as has been the practice in the past)? The common feeling is that the money earned should go to the personnel that earned it. * Gerald has signed up for a Fire Fighter Instructor Course with UFRA. * Our of the 150 fulltime Pine Valley residents, 33 of them are on the Fire Department. * The Post Office and Fire Station parking lot was recently “based”. It is still in need of more.

g. Treasurer Report – George (see report for November.)
