Pine Valley Local Administrative District Board Meeting

Welcome: Meeting called to order by Frank. Prayer given by Frank, and Pledge of Allegiance led by Herman.
Pine Valley Overlay Business: No requested permits this month.
Minutes from October 2002: Bob moved to approve, Herman seconded, and all in favor.
Board Member Reports:
Rick mentioned all Pine Valley electronic street signs are working except one.
Herman reported the last months county crime report. The county arrests are low, and no significant Washington County arrests, notable convictions or serious crimes in the last month. No significant Pine Valley crimes to report. Herman mentioned the county approved a new addition to Purgatory with 60 new beds that will break ground spring 2023.
Community Watch: Gene reported a call-to-action radio test will be held again this month. The radio repeater and backup batteries are working well. Iron County asked Gene to test a meter radio with them. Iron county will provide the radio and it will cost $110 cost to collaborate. Herman approved the funds, Bob seconded, and all in favor.
Pine Valley Dump: No issues or concerns.
Treasurer Report: Rick presented September and October financials. Bob approved, Allen seconded, and all in favor.
Budget for 2023 Review: Rick proposed the budget, and the board discussed.
Citizens Request: No requests or issues.

Minutes from November 2022 Meeting: Bob moved to approve the minutes, Allen seconded, and all in favor.
Board Member Reports: None
Special Service District Consolidation: Washington County Commissioners held a consolidation meeting with the current SSD board members on Oct 25th. The commissioners are moving forward, and a new board for each consolidated SSD will be formed soon, to initially assist with the transition.
Mail Building: No updates
Fire Chief Report:Three incidents since the last meeting, all EMT calls, with one in Pine Valley and the others in Central. Robert reported 2 firefighters are taking the EMT course.
Treasurer Report: Rick presented September and October financials. Bob approved, Allen seconded, and all in favor.
Budget for 2023: The board discussed the budget Rick presented for 2023.
Citizen Requests: None
