General Business Mary Esther called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. Dave led the Prayer, and Steve led the Pledge of Allegiance. The Minutes of the August 7, 2019 Meeting were read by each Board Member. Bob motioned to accept the Minutes, Allen seconded the motion, and all were in favor.
Building Permits to Review None.
Board Member Reports Bob mentioned the Speed Signs were all working and look good. Bob thanked Rick for all the work he had done. Rick said by next month he would have data from the signs downloaded for us to see. The Home Signage was discussed. At present anyone can buy a sign for $25.00 and Rick Albee will put the numbers on and install the sign. The Fire Department is not involved with the signs, it will be left up to the people. Mary Esther brought up the combining the PVSSD and the PVLAD Boards. The PVSSD is over the Fire Department and Recreation in the Valley. The PVLAD is over Traffic Control and Other in the Valley. Anyone can call the Sheriff for a problem or complaint and they will send out a Deputy. Mary Esther has asked Eric Clark from the County to attend our next meeting so we can hear more information on how we can streamline our meetings.
Fire Chief Report Steve went over the 5 Incidents for last month. Steve explained we have new requirements for Fire Fighters. He is sending out the new Standard Operating Guidelines to each Fire Fighter and will be following up with each one. Steve reported on the Fire Hydrants. Some of the materials will be coming in tomorrow. They will start in Lloyd Canyon. They are planning to finish the project before winter. The Fire Truck for sale has not been sold so they are lowering the price to $4500.00.
Treasurer Report Rick read and explained the “Profit and Loss Sheet” dated August 2019, the “Profit and Loss Detail Sheet” dated August 2019, the “Profit and Loss Budget vs. Actual” dated January through December 2019, the “Balance Sheet Previous Year Comparison” dated As of August 31, 2019, the Edith Green Fund “Profit and Loss Detail Sheet” dated January through August 2019 and the Edith Green Fund “Balance Sheet Prev Year Comparison” dated As of September 3, 2019. Rick showed us a copy of the PVSSD Impact Fee Schedule Revenues on Hand FY Ending December 31, 2019 and explained the Sheet. Bob motioned to accept the financials and Allen seconded, all in favor.
