Pine Valley Special Services District Meeting

Attending Guest: Emily T. Neilson, Ed Anderson, Kathy Foster, Rick Foster, Frank Davie
Welcome: Meeting called to order by Mary Esther. Prayer given by Mike and Pledge of Allegiance led by Allen.
General Business:Bob moved to approve the April 2022 meeting minutes, Allen seconded and all in favor.
Board Member Reports: Bob suggested all future meetings be the first Wednesday of the month. Financials that cannot be completed from the previous month will be moved to the following month for review and approval.
Post Office Building:Allen and Mike discussed the future mail building and possible community building.
Pine Valley Building Permits: Two building permit issued.
Fire Chief Report:Steve reported fire risk is high. He mentioned the water company is in the first stages of planning a 350,000-gallon tank that will be in the Lloyd Canyon area. Three EMT calls reported since the last meeting.
Treasurer Report: April financials will be reported in the June 2022 meeting.
Citizen Requests: Emily Neilson reported on the progress of the Overlay Zone project and upcoming meetings.
The next scheduled PVSSD meeting will be June 1, 2022.
PVSSD Board Meeting adjourned. Moved into PVLAD meeting.

Minutes from April 2022: Allen approved, Mike seconded and all in favor.
Board Member Reports:
Frank Davie reported that he met with a delivery person for UPS regarding the packages being placed in the mail building during heavy snow periods in the winter. Frank suggested secure package boxes. The delivery man will discuss with his superior and get back with Frank. Beryl is also requesting the secure boxes.
Mike Stucki reported the five-county public health updated their website to include the annual action plan, and the earthquake and wildfire zones.
Community Watch: No report.
Pine Valley Dump:No report.
Treasurer Report: April financials will be reported in the June 2022 meeting.
Citizens Request: Emily T. Nielsen mentioned that if the Overlay Zone is approved, the board will need to prepare to work with the county for future builds.
