General Business Mary Esther called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. Steve led the Prayer, and Bob led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Minutes of the May 8, 2019 Meeting were read by each Board Member. Bob motioned to accept the Minutes, Allen seconded the motion, and all were in favor.
Building Permits to Review None
Board Member Reports Mary Esther brought up that some of the roads had been fixed from the winter but that others were not. John reported that the County has many roads that need work and they are still working on them.
Fire Chief Report Steve went over the three incidents in the last month. Steve has received all three bids he needs to start the project on the hydrants. He is in contact with Jason Rogers and hopes to get the hydrants done before snow. Rick explained a report from the Water Conservancy District. It was about the population growth in relationship to water in Washington County. Larry explained the water situation in the Valley. The Water Board has kept up with the growth in the Valley and will continue to do this. Rick brought up the Poles for the Speed Signs. He has been working with Ron Whitehead and they have been ordered. Rick has bought more Flags for the roadside and showed us the new Flag he is purchasing.
Treasurer Report Rick reported the 2018 Audit has been Approved. Rick read and explained the “Profit and Loss Sheet” dated May 2019, the “Profit and Loss Detail Sheet” dated May 2019, the “Profit and Loss Budget Performance” dated January through December 2019, the “Balance Sheet Previous Year Comparison” dated As of and June 3, 2019, the Edith Green Fund “Profit and Loss Detail Sheet” dated January through May 2019 and the Edith Green Fund “Balance Sheet Prev Year Comparison” dated As of May 31, 2019. Rick showed us a copy of the PVSSD Impact Fee Schedule Revenues on Hand FY Ending December 31, 2019 and explained the Sheet. Bob motioned to accept the financials and John seconded, all in favor.
Larry brought up the restrooms at the Heritage Center. He suggested we could work with the Forest Service and to winterize them. Steve suggested we use money from the Dinner Committee to help fix them up. Frank offered to contact Nick from the Forest Department and start a conversation with them.
Bob motioned to adjourn, Allen seconded and all were in favor.
