GENERAL BUSINESS
Mary Esther called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. Dall led the Pledge of Allegiance and Gerald led the prayer.
The Minutes of the June 7, 2017 Meeting were read by each Board Member. Herman motioned to accept the Minutes, Dall seconded the motion and all else were in favor.
Building Permits to Review
A Building Permit has been issued to Jeff Newby.
Board Member Reports
Mary Esther brought up a discussion about a complaint of an outdoor light across the street from a house. It was decided we could do nothing about the complaint. Mary Esther commented how well the 4th of July Program went with about 649 people attending.
Fire Chief Report We had thirteen incidents this month and they were discussed.
Treasurer Report: Rick explained how well the billing went out and how well the money is coming in. Insurances are all done. The second vehicle of the two recently purchased, is not in yet, but is in the paint shop. Rick talked about transparency and how well it is going. Rick read and explained the “Balance Sheet” dated June 30, 2017, the “Profit & Loss Sheet” dated June 2017, the “Profit and Loss Detail Sheet” dated June 2017 and the “Profit and Loss Budget vs. Actual Sheet” dated January through June 2017.
Gerald brought up the Preparedness in Wilderness class that will be held August 4 and 5. Everyone in the Valley is invited.
Frank commented the “Review of Fencing around Pine Valley” written by Ford that was enclosed in the PVSSD Invoice sent out last month, was very well written.
Dall motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:10 pm. Herman seconded and all were in favor.
The next scheduled PVSSD meeting will be August 2, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
