General Business Mary Esther called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. John led the Pledge of Allegiance and Dave led the Prayer.
The Minutes of the June 6, 2018 Meeting were read by each Board Member. Allen motioned to accept the Minutes. John seconded the motion, and all were in favor.
Building Permits to Review A Building Permit was issued to Renae and Nick Stucki for property on Oakridge, and then signed by the Board.
Revision To Impact Fee Resolution Rick read the Modified Revision To Impact Fee Resolution and explained the new modifications. It has been posted for the needed time and because of the Modifications it has to be voted on again. Allen moved to accept the New Modified Revision, Dave seconded and all were in favor.
Board Member Reports Mary Esther explained some of the new laws and rules in the Valley. We will be hearing more about this in the future and Mary Esther will keep us posted. Allen brought up the question about having enough water in the future for the growth in the Valley. Larry Gardner explained the water situation now and in the future. John will continue to look into the Cattle Guard problem and questions about the flashing lights on the signage.
Fire Chief Report Steve went over the thirteen incidents in June. A Plaque from the Forest Department was presented to the Pine Valley Fire Department for help in the West Valley Fire. Steve gave us information for Campfires from the State Lands and Fire in Utah. Mary Esther read the information. Steve then read the parts on the second page that applied to Outdoor Fires. Allen motioned to approve and accept the Guidelines and distribute them to landowners. Dave seconded and all were in favor.
Treasurer Report Rick read and explained the New PVSSD Impact Fee Schedule which explains where the money from Impact Fee is and will be spent. Then Rick read and explained the “Profit and Loss Sheet” dated June 2018, the “Profit and Loss Detail Sheet” dated June 2018, the “Profit and Loss Budget vs. Actual Sheet” dated January through December 2018, the “Balance Sheet” dated As of June 30, 2018, the Edith Green Fund “Profit and Loss Detail Sheet” dated January through July 6, 2018, and the Edith Green Fund “Balance Sheet” dated As of July 6, 2018. Financials were motioned by Dave, seconded by John, and all were in favor.
Gerald mentioned how good the flags looked over the 4th of July.
Dave motioned to adjourn at 7:15 pm. Allen seconded and all were in favor.
