Gerald discussed giving information about the Fire Department.  Many suggestions were discussed.  The added fee on lots without buildings was discussed.  Allen made a motion that we approve a vacant lot fee of $75,  Herman seconded it.  Without a majority vote, it was tabled for the future.  We have until next month to finalize what we want to add to the Annual Fee Letter.

Board Member Reports

Dall brought up that he had attended a County Commissioner Meeting and we had been approved for funding on our Gate Project.

Allen  gave us a copy of a report he received after seeking counsel from the County Commissioners for the Pine Valley Special Service District on fire assessments, rental units and minimum lot size for horses.  These are issues we have had in the last few months and the County has been helpful to our Community.

Fire Chief:  Gerald gave us a copy of the Chief’s Report 6 April 2016.  He spoke about some of the report, then turned it over to Lorett to explain the 7 EMT incidences.  After her presentation,  Rick brought up the fact the Enterprise Ambulance has lost an engine.  He proposed to help with funding to repair the engine.  He is going to contact the Central North West Special Service District to help with the funding.  Frank gave a talk and presentation on this Saturday’s training which will be a Wild Fire Simulation with all trucks, excerise all pumps, simulate escape from fire area, fire shelter deployment and EMT interventions.

Treasurer Report:  Rick Peetz read and explained the “Balance Sheet” dated March 31, 2016, the “Profit & Loss Sheet” dated March 2016, the “Profit & Loss Detail” dated March 2016 and the “Profit and Loss Budget vs. Actual” dated January through March 2016.
