Pine Valley Special Services District Meeting on Sept. 7, 2016 at 6:00 pm

GENERAL BUSINESS
Mary Esther Putnam called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm, and Herman Nordbruch led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Meeting Minutes
Minutes of the Meeting for Aug. 3, 2016 were read by each Board Member. Herman motioned to accept the Minutes with correction. Dall seconded the motion and all else were in favor.
Building Permits to Review
A Building Permit for Robert Daniel Abbott was signed by the Board Members for 623 East Main Street. Mr. Abbott paid the impact fee.
Discussion on New Fire Truck
Gerald and Rick have been negotiating with Color County on a used Fire Truck. After discussion Dall motioned to purchase the Fire Truck, Herman seconded and all were in favor.
Board Member Reports
Dall reported the work on the fire hydrant near his home is completed, and the hydrant near the Lodge is waiting for parts to be completed. Dall brought up the Firemen’s Appreciation Dinner which will be held in November. It was decided on a tentative date of November 12. He also talked about the Gate at the end of Main Street. He is working with both the County and the Forest Service on this project. He has a sheet with needed materials and quantities, and will contact local contractors for bids. He will then go to the County for approval.
Fire Chief: Gerald gave us a copy of the Chief’s Report 7 September 2016. He spoke about the Fire Training on Saturday September 10. Laurett Winterton is in charge of this. Laurett reported several EMT incidents this last month. The Saddle Fire had a flare up, but is under control. Gerald spoke of many problems with OHV over the Labor Day weekend.
Treasurer Report: Rick Peetz read and explained the “Balance Sheet” dated August 31, 2016, the “Profit & Loss Sheet” dated August 2016, the “Profit & Loss Detail” dated August 2016 and the “Profit and Loss Budget vs. Actual” dated January through August 2016.
Herman motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:00. Dall seconded and all in favor.
The next scheduled PVSSD meeting will be October 5, 2016 at 6:00 pm.
