a/b. Welcome – Meeting was opened by Mary Esther (Chair) at 7:10
c. Meeting Minutes for March 2, 2011 were reviewed. Jeff motioned to approve the minutes. Dall seconded the motion. Motion carried.
d. Pine Valley Building Permits Reviewed: N/A
f. Board Member Reports:
Mary Esther: N/A
John: Forestry Service has been doing a lot of burning. The gate on Forest Service access road has prevented a lot of issues and problems with EMT callouts at the reservoir.
Jeff: Will call Wendell Gubler (County Road Supervisor) about getting some repairs done on the potholes, as well as surfacing and gravel on some of the P.V. roads. Gerald added that there were 12 less callouts largely due to the gate, but also jersey barriers at Deadman’s.
Dall: N/A
g. Fire Chief – Gerald (see report) State insurance regulations were changed. We must have a firm list of who are members of our department. There are 32 volunteers who are pretty regular attendees. * We will have 5-6 people red carded this year.
h. Treasurer Report – George (see report). Expenses were higher than most months and checking account balance is unusually low. May have to dip into savings.
Some general questions and discussions on a Bed & Breakfast proposal in Pine Valley. The Board requested Sharon Northington to work with Deon Goheen regarding issues with the potential ‘change of use’.
